Collaborative Divorce: What it can do for you
Collaborative Divorce: What it looks like

Separation or divorce is, for many couples, one of the most difficult and defining events in life. It may involve intense feelings of grief, pain, anger, guilt, sadness, and more. These feelings are hard to avoid in a transition defined by loss, conflict, betrayal, and financial struggle.

The choice is yours on how you want to proceed with your divorce.  You have options.  You can litigate and go to court with your spouse.  Or you can retain control of the process and decision making.  You can choose to do things with the least amount of harm to your children.  The Collaborative process is designed to fit the unique needs of your family while keeping you out of court.

More importantly, the process you choose to divorce can be done respecting biblical principles.  The Collaborative process respects the biblical principles of Christians resolving disputes without going to court.  It also honors biblical teachings to be peace-loving and cooperative.  You along with your Collaborative attorney’s agree to honor these principles from the onset of the process.  (Click here for a biblical model for dispute resolution).

Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press toward the goal of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 3;13-14
